A man died in a crash on Route 50 in mid-December, according Maryland State Police and reported by Delmarva Now.
On the evening of Dec. 16, police responding to a call for a car crash near Willards found a Ford truck in a drainage ditch of the side of the road. The truck was overturned and the man driving it, 70-year-old Cecil Wright Bundick, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
Investigators determined that the accident happened when Bundick turned into the westbound lane of Route 50 after he had been traveling southbound on Powellville Road. Bundick collided head-on with a tractor-trailer.
