The accident happened near the 13 mile marker on Interstate 70 shortly after 9:00am. State police were notified and Western Troop Commander Michael Fluharty reported that when troopers arrived they found the truck on its side. The tractor trailer driver, identified as Jason Gillard from Texas, lost control of the truck and smashed into trees along the westbound lanes.
