Four people were injured April 1 in a crash involving an overturned tractor-trailer, Maryland State Police reported to CBS Local.
The tractor-trailer collided with a Dodge Ram pickup truck heading west on 1-95, police said. The tractor-trailer overturned after the two vehicles collided. It then hit a concrete bridge support and began to leak fuel.
The two young men in the tractor trailer had traveled to Maryland from across the country: the tractor-trailer was driven by 22-year-old Dewinderpal Thind of French Camp, CA, and Thind’s passenger was 25-year-old Gurpreet Singh, of Turlock, CA.
The two people in the Dodge truck were also not from the area. The driver was Daniel Warren, 26, of Starr, SC and his passenger was 30-year-old Mary Kathleen Clark of Semmes, AL. All four people involved were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
